The Tri-Town Homefest event is scheduled from July 19-21. Activities will be held in Westernport and Piedmont.
Friday 6:30 pm ... Parade starts in Piedmont and will end at Roderick's Furniture in Westernport. A benefit fire truck pull will be held in Piedmont after the parade.
8-11am ... A Fishing rodeo will be held at the Potomac River. A bake sale will be held at St. James in Westernport and the Presbyterian Church in Piedmont.
9-10 am ... there will be a 5-spot basketball shootout behind the old Westernport Union Hall ... Vendors will be in the downtown areas of Piedmont and Westernport from 9am to 4pm. Also there will be a yard sale at the Western Maryland train station.
Also during the event will be a book raffle, face painting, crafts, pool party ... and a trolly will be available to go between Piedmont and Westernport frpm 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
2012 Farmer’s Market
2012 Farmer’s Market in Frostburg every Friday, from 9:30 to 1pm. The market is NOW located in City Place on the corner of Water & Mechanic Streets -- rain or shine. Public restrooms are available and it is more pedestrian-friendly. Hours have been extended to 1pm so don’t let your lunch hour go by without stopping by the market this year. A portion of Mechanic Street will be closed to allow for easier pedestrian access so please take Broadway to access the Mechanic Street parking lot.
Friday After Five
