Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation's Bedford PA Chapter is holding its 2nd annual Banquet on August 4, 2012 at 5 pm at Bedford Ford Auto Mall. There will be a live auction, silent auction and raffles which will include guns, wildlife prints, fishing and hunting items, hunting trips, jewelry and many other items. Summer In The City Events
5-7PM Enjoy live music by Johnny Moore Trio as part of Summer in the City’s “Saturdays on the Plaza” free music series. The band will be performing on the plaza in front of the Western Maryland Train Station.
7-10PM Mixed Brew performs as part of “Crabby Pig’s Summer Live Music Series” at Crabby Pig (located at the Shops at Canal Place in Cumberland).
Sports Car Hill Climb
Polish Mountain Sports Car Hill climb to be held in Flintstone, Maryland 4, and 5.
Saturday August 4 and Sunday August 5 the Polish Mountain Sports Car Hill climb will start at 8 AM each day.
The event is free to spectators. Parking is provided at the bottom of the mountain on State Route 144; shuttle service will be provided to take spectators to viewing areas along the course and to the paddock area near the starting line.
All proceeds to benefit the Flintstone Volunteer Fire Department.
Brad Bridges Helmet Awareness Event
August 4th 10-4 at Canal Festival Area Cumberland md. Help support Bradbridges Helmetawareness. There will be magic show at 11am. And 2 bands start playing at 12. Lots of games and food. 20ft slide. Face paint, balloon lift off also at noon! Hope to see everyone there!
Art At Aurelia
The participating artists of the Turkeyfoot Highlands will hold their annual Path Arts Festival on the grounds of the historic Brooke Farmhouse located adjacent to Route 40. Come and see many items available for show and sale. Admission is free.
Saturdays on Broadway
August 4, 12-2PM Straight Ahead Jazz will perform as part of Saturdays on Broadway, . All performances are held at the parking lot next to City Place in Frostburg.
